The greens and blues of summer were found in all six pieces, with whites and yellows to represent the big fluffy clouds and all the sunshine. Mother is my temple, and my inspiration & color pallet for this series ｡ ﾟ☾ ﾟ｡⋆

Words from my most favorite of all time character, from the best show (Adventure Time). Nothing has brought magic and kindness into my heart like the work of art that is this show. The animations and designs, the stories, the characters and everything else. Thanks to every artist that contributed, especially Pen Ward. I love you, & thank you for helping me become the healer, lover and artist that i am today! I made the letters “Finn” themed, with the blue and white, all surrounded in space. Every bruise truly is a hickey from the universe

This is one of those songs that makes me wanna dance and smile but also tear up a bit. Words of my heart. Thanks to them for helping the kid stay alive, and for the encouragement, and for being an artist! This isn’t the only creation of theirs that holds space in my heart. Much love and endless thanks. I felt it was only fitting i honored the summer clouds a bit along with this song, they go together well

My sad summer tune, one of the most pretty sad love songs ever. I heard it for the first time, in Adventure Time, when Marcy sings parts of it, & thanks to shazam, I’ve been a very big fan of the song ever since. I think it even might be my favorite song to sing. It’s a song that hits my heart from start to finish. I tried to do her voice, the song, summertime and Marcline justice in my painting.
She was right. “and autumn comes when you’re not yet done with the summer passing by”
‘Baby Are You Out Of Your Mind’ Never Seen A Girl Like Me -Shitkid
Nothing has ever, or will ever, make me feel how this song did the first time i heard it, or even when i hear it today. Like I’m alive, and insane, and perfect. The way this song is made up does something to the deepest parts of me, and I poured lots of myself into this piece trying to get the song, and that feeling, on canvas. I’ve never spent so much time with a tune! I’m grateful for the gift that is this song.
(also only used 3 different paints for this one! isn’t that awesome? yellow and blue and pink making all these greens and purples and browns. I think it all goes with the song, and summer, very well)

Wise words from a very wise troll! Yet another show to inspire me with its hero ways. In love with the the story from all the Tales of Arcadia, the character designs and personalities of the characters! This show brought me magic, silliness, goodness and laughs in some of my not so bright and magical times. Thanks to everyone that gave us the gift of Blinky, his words, and the Tales of Arcadia
Mother & Summer
I have always been a lover to mother, I’m so grateful for her friendship, love and acceptance. I thank her for being such a good friend and warm home to me. She brought me the brightest, warmest summer I’ve ever felt. Hooray for the colors and brightness of mother and the summertime. Hooray for clouds, and flowers, and moths, and bugs and critters and rain and fruit and beans and everything else
